Pearce Brothers Mobility is a local family mobility company who have an exciting new role to offer and is looking for a Product Adviser and Accessor to join our enthusiastic, forward-thing team in the Southwest.

The ideal applicant will be a great team player with a customer-centric approach and ideally have previous experience in a similar role. A background in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or the healthcare market would also be a benefit.

**Responsibilities**:
Carry out assessments and reviews for equipment with health and social care professionals and carers.

Provides services under the direction of the Occupational Therapist and the Customer Advisory Teams.

Demonstrate, and instruct, on the use of equipment to ensure safety.

Meeting Customers’ needs in either the showroom, at clients’ private homes, care homes, or clinical environments such as hospitals and care settings.

Advising on the correct Mobility Products for our Customers’ Needs. Products include Wheelchairs, Power Chairs, Positioning Aids, Specialist Shower Chairs, Slings, etc.

Carry out Moving and Handling Tasks.

Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Work in collaboration with your colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare support.

Participate in the training, induction, and teaching of related skills and techniques to other support staff.

Actively participate in clinical supervision.

Participating in the in-service and external training, as agreed with qualified OT to feedback and reflect on training attended.

Exercise good personal time management, punctuality, and consistent reliable attendance.

Knowledge and Experience with working in the Health and Social Care Sector is preferable however full training will be given.

Date Moving and Handling training/course is preferable Knowledge and Experience with Moving and Handling is preferable.

Knowledge and experience with using moving and handling and mobility equipment including hoisting and sling use is preferable.

Knowledge and experience of risk assessment

Raising and sending quotations for equipment

**Requirements for the role**

Able to work confidently with health and social care professionals, service users, families, and carers.

Able to carry out assessments and reviews independently.

Able to work within a team and support team members with tasks.

Being able to drive and have own vehicle is preferable.

NVQ in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferable.

Experience with using Outlook, SAGE, Word, and Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
