Lister Windows based in Rayleigh, Essex has been established for over 30 years and are now part of the GJB Group encompassing multiple businesses across the country. The windows, doors and conservatories produced here represent one of the most respected consumer products available anywhere in the UK.

As an integral part of our business, the IT team are responsible for maintaining, administering and developing the IT infrastructure to ensure that GJB has a secure enterprise class network and support our ever growing software development.

**What will I be doing?**
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey ideas and offer IT solutions to colleagues at all levels
- Maintaining, updating and improving First Degree Systems Window Designer fabrication software.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to all aspects of the services provided
- Assisting with a variety of IT incidents and explore new and alternative resolutions where appropriate, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and the end user experience
- Where necessary, liaise with 3rd party vendors for maintenance and support

**What skills should I have?**
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
- Competent with Windows Operating Systems
- Basic understanding of Office365
- End user focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and develop
- Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective time management
- Driven and resilient
- Effective communication (both written and verbal)
- Highly organised
- Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing organisational requirements
- Approachable with good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with staff effectively at all levels

**What's nice to have?**
- Experience with First Degree Systems - Window Designer.
- Experience of the Window Industry (Fabrication)

**Salary and Benefits?**
- 28 Days Holiday
- Salary from £21k minimum, up to much more depending on experience
- Company Pension Scheme

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
