**We are looking for someone to join us in our Basingstoke Jewson JPS (RG24 8PY) branch as a Customer Sales Advisor and delivery driver**

Your role will be essential to keeping our branch running smoothly. From serving our customers at the trade counter, processing customer orders, organising deliveries and supporting the branch through day to day operations. Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Jewson.

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is a brand within Saint-Gobain which specialises in providing solutions for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities.

**Is this role right for me?**

This role has a strong focus on customer service as well as delivering products to our customers, so this role is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers and enjoys a varied role. **The person we’re looking for will have**:

- A passion for delivering great customer service
- A flexible approach to work; happy to work in various departments within the branch
- Ideally have had experience within the construction/building materials industry (although not essential)
- A great team player; ready to support colleagues and customers when needed
- A confident communicator, both over the phone and in branch
- A full clean driving license

**Working Hours**: Monday to Thursday 7:30 - 4: 00 and Friday 7:00 - 4:00 (No weekend work)

**What will I be doing?**

First and foremost, we always want to recruit talented people that align well with our values and way of working. Experience within our industry is not essential, we are committed to providing you with the full tools and support required to carry out your role within Jewson JPS.

**Your day to day duties will be to**:

- Provide an excellent customer experience, maintaining strong effective relationships with both local customers and suppliers
- Process customer orders both over the phone and in person
- Deliver a wide variety of products to our customers using a 3.5 Tons Transit Van
- Pick items to fulfil customer orders
- Check incoming stock deliveries and put away in appropriate area
- Getting to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone)
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- Serving on the counter with customers and providing good customer service
