We are seeking to recruit a Locksmith Coordinator to join our busy client, with the Ironmongery and Locksmith team. This role will suit a skilled administrator who is capable of managing a schedule of appointments for the Locksmiths, ensuring that our customers receive the best service possible.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as the first point of contact for external locksmiths.
- Manage the appointments of external locksmiths.
- Ensure all paperwork including quotes, purchase orders and technical documents are processed and filed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Liaise with external locksmiths to ensure that all invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintain the computerised customer and prospect database.
- Ensure confidential information is handled and processed in accordance with GDPR.
- Deal with the routine enquiries from customers and staff. (i.e., by telephone, written correspondence, in person) and provide them with the relevant information or refer more complex, non-standard queries to the appropriate member of staff.
- Assist the internal & external sales teams within the department.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge, aspiring to achieve Guild of Architectural Ironmongery status.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures including those relating to health and safety and environmental protection.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to work within and contribute to a team
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- IT literacy and familiarity with computer packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledgeable in working with security software systems desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Able to balance conflicting priorities within the given time.
- A drive to continually learn and develop.
- Ability to work alone and make decisions while working for the good of the team.
