**Procurement Placement**

**(One Year Placement)**

**About the Role**

A year placement within our Procurement team is an excellent opportunity to experience working across a broad range of procurement skills in one of Northern Ireland’s leading dairy manufacturing companies. Our procurement function looks after the key categories of packaging, ingredients and services.

You will be tasked to be involved in the following activities during your placement:

- Support Category Manager in tendering activities
- Manage tendering for small value spends
- Maintain Packaging Specification database
- Support Group Packaging Technologist in submission of Dale Farm annual PRN and completion of Customer Requests relating to packaging specifications
- Manage component set-up on to Dale Farm Navision system
- Manage new vendor set-up on to Dale Farm Navision system

**About You**

This is a challenging role and we are looking for energetic and enthusiastic applicants who are able to work reliably on their own initiative and are working towards an Business, Procurement or Supply Chain related degree.

Applicants must have excellent administration and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to plan and work with flexibility to meet deadlines. You should hold a clean current driving licence and have ideally have access to your own transport.
