**Job Role: Sales Administrator**

**Location: London (E11)**

**Salary: £25,000 - £32,000**

RG Freight Recruitment are working on behalf of Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker to source a **Sales Administrator** in **London (E11)**.

This client firmly believes themselves to be the next generation of freight forwarders. With their real time and intuitive cloud based platform they are on a mission to simplify freight forwarding and make the whole experience more user friendly and transparent.

Operating for over 40 years and with a tight knit team of 75 they are a force within the UK freight market and are expanding as they take on more domestic and overseas work. Offering bespoke solutions including multi modal forwarding, customs clearance and supply chain management, they are in a great position to assist their clients with worldwide freight movements.

This is a hybrid role consisting of 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Key duties and responsibilities
- Accurate and prompt preparation and issuing of quotations
- Follow-up of sales enquiries and quotations within agreed timescales
- Supporting the sales team in qualifying prospects
- Building strong relationships with clients in order to understand clients’ needs and maximizing sales opportunities
- Supporting with preparation of business proposal to prospective clients
- Arranging online and face-to-face client meetings for the sales team
- Taking and producing accurate minutes or actions at client meetings
- Creating client SOP’s and effectively liaising with the operation team to ensure successful on-boarding of new clients
- Maintaining and updating sales records in CRM
- Compiling monthly sales reports
- Managing customer issues / complaints through to resolution
The Person
- Minimum 2 years working within sales administrator or similar role within the freight forwarding industry is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding customer service skills
- A confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent telephone manner and ability to build relationship with clients
- Goal orientated with ability to prioritise, multi-task and work well under pressure
- Self-motivated, results-driven with a can-do attitude
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office
- Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping
