**The Role: SEO Executive**

This role would be ideal for someone who is at the beginning of their SEO career and wants to continue to learn, working in-house and hands-on alongside some hugely experienced SEOs and digital marketers.

As an SEO Executive at Comparitec, you will play an important role in enhancing the visibility of our websites and driving organic traffic. You will work as part of a growing SEO team to assist in executing our SEO strategies, identifying opportunities for growth, brief, upload and optimize on-page content, and help build high-quality backlinks.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Collaborate with other members of the SEO and digital marketing teams to develop and implement effective SEO strategies that align with our business goals.
- Upload, format, and optimise content using our custom Content Management System (CMS) to ensure it is search engine friendly and user-friendly.
- Utilise basic HTML and CSS knowledge to make necessary on-page optimisations.
- Conduct link-building and outreach activities to acquire high-quality backlinks and build relationships with relevant websites.
- Analyse link opportunities, track performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Contribute to keyword research efforts to identify valuable target keywords and phrases.
- Implement basic on-page SEO optimisation techniques to improve page rankings and visibility.
- Monitor and report on key SEO performance metrics, such as organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
- 1-2 years of experience in SEO or a closely related role.
- Proficiency in uploading and formatting content using Content Management Systems.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for on-page optimisations.
- Experience in link-building and outreach strategies.
- Familiarity with Aref's or similar SEO tools for link analysis.
- Basic understanding of keyword research principles.
- Familiarity with on-page SEO optimisation techniques.

**Desirable (But Not Essential) Skills**
- Technical SEO knowledge, including experience with Screaming Frog or a similar crawling tool.
- Experience in Digital PR.
- Previous experience working within the financial services sector.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
