**The Company.**
At Smart Display we specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of exhibition stands for our clients at events across the UK and Europe. We pride ourselves on creative solutions that deliver impact and results.
The exhibition industry is exciting and fast-paced, no two projects are the same and we operate at the front end, creating unique environments for our clients to help them promote their brands and products.
Due to continued expansion over recent years, we are looking to add an administrative assistant to the production team, supporting their day-to-day activities working on live projects and also new pitches.
**General duties.**
To support the Production team by carrying out general administrative and customer service tasks, such as:
Liaising with event organisers and placing for orders for services such as electrics, internet etc.
- Support the Managing Director with estimating work relating to new enquiries.
- Liaising with suppliers and obtaining quotations for work.
- General administrative duties such as arranging hotel accommodation, organising international travel and logistics.
- Keeping project folders up to date and ensuring staff members working on each project have access to all the information they require.
- Maintaining company stationary stock levels.
- Assisting with company vehicle and labour schedules.
Key attributes:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or utilising similar skills.
- Proficient on Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Diligent approach to tasks.
- Highly organised and comfortable working to deadlines.
- Polite and professional telephone manner and comfortable speaking with clients and suppliers over the phone.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyse and prioritise workload.
- Enthusiastic and confident.
- Driving license desirable but not essential.
This role would be perfect for someone looking to establish themselves in a growing and ambitious company within challenging but incredibly rewarding industry.
The successful applicant will learn everything operationally that goes into delivering a project for our client and the role will open up progression into Project Management or Estimating amongst other areas.
