Band 4 Dietetic Assistant Practitioner - Nutrition Skills for Life - Fixed Term 6 months

Are you interested in nutrition and supporting people to eat well? We have an opportunity for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join the Public Health Dietetics Team.

The post holder will provide highly skilled specialised support under the direction of a senior dietitian supporting the community nutrition and dietetic community education programme. This role will involve working with communities, families, groups and with carers. Currently this is being developed to be delivered virtually and within community. This role will gain the opportunity to support the creation and role out of healthy eating on a budget training within Torfaen. Group delivery of healthy eating on a budget training will form a main part of this role.

This post is based in Caerleon House, Cleppa Park, Newport but covers the full ABUHB geographic area. There are plans for a base change move to Ty Gwent in the Autumn/Winter period.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
