You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team that is progressive, diverse, and full of interesting fun ideas to develop and grow the business and themselves. The People Team have a growth mindset, but don’t be fooled this also involves having fun together and celebrating our success as a team, weekly Friday Fun activities are an absolute - trust us there is no room for a dull moment in the People Team

**Responsibilities of our People Assistant**:

- Administrational support for the overall people processes including starters, leavers, employee changes, employee relation processes, absence notifications and FIT notes
- Ensuring date is always valid on our central HR system, including all new starter documents and right-to-work checks are completed
- Support Managers in Disciplinary and Grievance hearings. This includes conducting an investigation, where appropriate, guiding and advising the Manager during the hearing, taking, appropriate notes and confirming the outcome
- Supporting with colleague communications including updating communication zones and colleague notice boards
- Provide general confidential administration support as required

**Skills and experience needed of our People Assistant**:

- Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role preferred
- Able to work cooperatively within a team and on own initiative
- Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally and confidently able to work with different stakeholders internally
- Accurate data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs

**Salary**: £21,518.00-£24,960.00 per year
