Cardiff, United Kingdom NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Full time

Do you enjoy communicating with people?

Are you able to build trust based relationships with your colleagues?

Have you got great attention to detail?

If the above apply, we are keen to hear from you

We are looking for a highly motivated "Customer Focused Individual" to come and work in our People and Organisational Development Team. You will support our People Services team across NWSSP, working on a variety of projects and initiatives.

You will join a small and well established team and must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. If this sounds of interest, come and have a chat with us about the role.

We operate an agile approach to working, this will include home / remote working with occasional travel to the main corporate office and other sites. You will need to be able to commit to some travel throughout Wales and to making best use of our excellent technological solutions in order to develop and support the service.

The People Services Officer will provide a comprehensive range of professional operational services across the organisation. These will include, but are not limited too:
- 1. Building and maintaining credible and productive relationships with the Senior Management Team, Managers, NWSSP employees, People and OD colleagues and Trade Union Partners.

2. Offering support and advice on the full range of People and OD issues including change management, People and OD Projects including Analytics, Resourcing and a range of People Services activities.

3. Formulate, implement, and monitor progress of the projects to ensure that programmes and project work streams are planned, documented, and managed effectively to assist in their successful delivery.

4. To support the delivery of People and Organisational Development initiatives and our employee value proposition.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

At NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership we have high standards and expect everyone to embrace our values of Listening & Learning, Working Together, Taking Responsibility & Innovating, whilst ensuring trust, honesty and compassion are implicit in everything that we do.
We are adaptable, agile and flexible and pride ourselves on being a learning organisation - one where it is safe to make mistakes, where blame is replaced by opportunity, learning and improvement. Innovation is built into everything that we do.
We recognise our people regularly and have an Appreciation Station, to encourage staff to applaud exemplary behaviour in one another, alongside an Annual Staff Recognition Award ceremony aligned to our values.

We respect and value our people and strive for a culture of compassion and inclusivity. We are a bilingual organisation, and we have a team of Change Champions who advocate ‘This is Our NWSSP’ our principal change programme. Similarly, PROUD is our new staff network welcoming LGBT+ colleagues and allies to come together in a safe space for discussions, event planning and the opportunity to build supportive networks.

We have a comprehensive benefits package where there is something for everyone, supporting health, engagement and wellbeing and includes an Employee Assistance Programme. We have over 30 Mental Health First Aiders and work in partnership with local and national organisations to ensure the well-being and resilience of our people.
