**Location**:Kent & Canterbury Hospital, Canterbury, CT1 3NG
**Pay**: £11.45 per hour
**Working Pattern**: Monday
- Friday 9am-5pm (37.5 hours a week)

**About the Trust**
We are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 695,000 people. We also provide some specialist services for a wider population, including renal services in Medway and Maidstone and a cardiac service for all of Kent based at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- Primarily responsible for contacting all of our Mobile MRI Patients over the phone to remind them about their appointments. Discuss any issues that may affect their attendance or suitability for the Mobile MRI Scanner.
- First point of contact for all patients/visitors to the department - ensure a welcome environment and respond to any queries helpfully and informatively.
- Attending patients for pre-booked appointments checking accuracy of patient details on PAS/ Soliton.
- Deal with general telephone enquiries, take messages accurately, give information and advice (non-medical) to GP’s, patients, relatives and other staff involved with the patient in a manner responsive to customer needs and in accordance with trust procedures.
- Work as part of an appointment team making all patient appointments and dealing with any associated enquiries. To ensure patients receive appointment paperwork in line with the Access Policy.
- Ensure all booked appointments are booked according to diagnostic waiting times.
- Receiving and monitoring of blood results to ensure timely appointments are given.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- Excellent communication skills

- Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Previous administrative experience
- NHS experience
- NHS System Knowledge
