Join our team as a Part-Time Student Support Assistant in our partner SEND schools and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.

**About the Role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with SEND.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, promoting their engagement and participation in class activities.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere where all students can thrive academically and socially.
- Support students with daily tasks, including personal care if required, while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Currently studying for Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or similar qualification.
- Genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with excellent time management skills.
- An understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection.

**Salary**: £70.00-£80.00 per day

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
