**About the role**

As the Database Administrator, you will be a core member of our friendly and busy Database team during a very exciting time.

You will support with the preparation and cleansing of customer data from existing sources (such as customer relationship management [CRM] systems, Word and Excel) for Microsoft Dynamics. Processing high volumes of data with accuracy and efficiency and ensuring CRM is accurate and up-to date, supporting our staff in leveraging the system effectively, and contributing to the continued development of the platform.

Here are some of the things you’ll be doing as the Database Administrator:

- Review and collate data from multiple systems and other data sources- Liaise with internal and external teams to gain required information- Create and manage merge rules in Data8’s Duplicare to ensure the customer data in CRM is clean and accurate- Review the data captured and work with the CRM Processing team and internal stakeholders to define standard fields, option sets and categorisations- Translate existing customer data to bring in-line with those definitions- Prepare cleansed data sets in the required format- Run periodic check on the data in CRM to ensure it is clean, accurate and concise- Move data from unstructured formats (such as Word, Excel and paper forms) into pre-defined templates- Create and perform testing of data loads- Any other duties as required to support the Database and Analysis Lead and the CRM team.- Undertake any other delegated duties or tasks within the responsibility of the post.- Ensure equality, diversity and inclusion and the voices of those with disability are considered in all aspects of the post- Ensure compliance with charity policies and all relevant legislation.- Demonstrate behaviours in line with the charity values and maintain the reputation and standing of the charity**About you**

You will:

- Have experience working with data in databases- Have experience of using tools such as SQL and XRMtool box- Have experience of Data8 Duplicare and the preparation of merge rules within the app- Excellent IT skills particularly Microsoft Office, accessing files through Sharepoint and experience of using databases- Accurate record keeping skills in customer management system- Ability to organise workload, prioritise effectively and use own initiative- Be methodical, with excellent attention to detail**To apply**
