SRG are currently looking for a **R&D Scientist** to join a UK based medical device company. Our client's highly experienced leadership and specialist teams are committed to supporting business partners with market leading solutions in the WoundCare, Trauma and Hemostasis fields, managing the entire product development process through to full product commercialisation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as main R&D resource in key projects within the R&D program, from concept to market.
- Work closely with the technical, regulatory, project management and marketing teams.
- Support customers and drive new ideas through scientific and development activities.
- Identify and research technologies that could contribute to the development of new products and be able to promote internally through excellent scientific and business acumen.
- Lead on projects where appropriate.
- Act as R&D lead for internally and externally driven audits related to projects.
- Delivery of key projects within the approved strategy.
- Effectively manage multiple projects/programmes and priorities.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Lead proposal efforts including completing project scoping.
- Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
- Effectively communicate relevant project information and business opportunities to senior management.
