Job description

Are you looking for a new challenge where no two days are the same? We are looking for Security Officers to work in a busy car park within Barnsley Town Centre, you will engage with members of the public ensure they feel safe, and tackle any anti-social behaviours displayed.

**Main responsibilities**:
This is a customer facing role where you will be proactive in tackling anti social behaviour issues and liaising with local teams to ensure persons and property are protected.

Presenting at all times a smart, alert, and visible security presence

Access/Egress control and securing customer premises

Reporting any security incidences and dealing with emergency situations

Accurate reporting of any incidences

**Required**:
You will need to be a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key. A valid Door Supervision licence is required.

You must be able to provide:
5 years checkable work or back to school history.

**Terms**:
Rate of pay: £ 9.50

Working Pattern mornings and evenings averaging 40-42 hours per week - no nights

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour
