Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable part time Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard in the public sector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises and personnel. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring the well-being of others, we encourage you to apply. PLEASE NOTE: the interview will be conducted on Microsoft Teams Meetings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and ensuring authorized entry
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Assist in implementing loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic understanding of first aid procedures is preferred
- Physical fitness to perform regular patrols and respond quickly to emergencies

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week

Licence/Certification:

- SIA Door Supervisor Licence (required)
