Shift Supervisor at The Cosy Cafe, Hay on Wye.

We are looking for cheerful, confident, conscientious soul to come & join our friendly, hardworking team here at The Cosy Cafe in Hay on Wye.

Previous experience of working in a busy hospitality environment is preferable as is a positive, cheerful and flexible attitude.

Hours are 30-40 to suit and to include some weekends.
Key duties include:
Opening and closing of the cafe, including cashing up
Preparation of and ideas for food, particularly salads, soups, sandwiches, breakfasts and crepe fillings
Ensuring Health and Safety regulations are met and adhered to
Ensuring Food Safety regulations are met and adhered to
Serving of all cafe food and beverage from the menu
Serving and meeting the needs of customers in an attentive, cheerful manner
Management of other cafe staff, in the absence of the manager
Ensuring the cafe is kept clean and well presented at all times
Plus other adhoc duties to ensure smooth operation of the cafe

Level 2 Food Hygiene an advantage but training can be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
