**Overview**
2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for an Export Manager to join a manufacturing business in North Derbyshire on a full time, permanent basis. The Export Manager will lead and manage the Export department by adopting an industry best approach to interactingwith domestic and international customers.
**Role & Responsibilities of the Export Manager**:

- Ensure customer orders and quotations are prioritised and processed by the team against the required objectives & KPI's set by the business
- Ensure the team are following up on quotations and purchasing behaviour to drive positive company sales results
- Ensure the team maintain thorough and accurate customer service records
- CRM customer labelling on importance and buying power to establish a well-maintained database
- Ensure the team are cross selling and promoting additional sales on all occasions
- Help support sales account management in prospects-dormant-low trading and high trading accounts
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints whilst resolving complaints quickly, accurately, and patiently, including assisting customers who may have received their orders late, have received the wrong order or have received faulty products
- Support on the planning and delivery of customer orders and collections
- Knowledge of International Customs / Export regulations is a must
**Requirements of the Export Manager**:

- Proven working experience as an Export Manager or a senior role in an Export / Logistics environment
- Has experience of working with E-Commerce platform as well to manage the day-to-day
operation of online trading
- Strong analytical skills
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities (Orders / Quotes)
- Good commercial acumen and awareness
- Pricing and margin control
- Ability to think strategically and to lead
- Strong attention to detail & listening skills
- Full driving license and open to foreign travel - (Limited)
- Good at retrieving and analysing data throughout CRM as well from other angles in the
business and industry, commercial reporting, Excel, and Microsoft Office skills
- A European language (German or French) would be an advantage
