**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**

The management of the design and development process for categories to produce seasonal and continuity collections that achieve the companies set objectives in terms of the design vision and high-quality standards, commercial brief, timescales, prices and margin.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Research and development, in conjunction with Creative Director and Menswear design team, of seasonal/continuity/fabrics/colours and the creation of mood boards and presentation tools in line with company strategy
- Responsible for design and the ongoing management of the design development process together with product development and fabric development, for all Knitwear and Jersey pieces through to final approval and production of samples, ensuring set timescales are adhered to
- Design and development of the knitwear and Jersey collection alongside the spirit of the Menswear collection focussing on the classics, also innovation, and new styling sensibilities, as the season requires. Responsibility to meet the design and costing requirements as details in the menswear commercial brief
- Knitwear and jersey category to create alignment but also avoid crossover
- Partner with the Product developer to work with key mills ahead of the season in developing exclusive materials in terms of colour and pattern that align with the new contemporary vision of the brand
- Development of trims, linings and components as required
- To liaise and co-ordinate with the product team through every stage of the development process.
- To initiate and manage the initial creation of the Bill of Material document in conjunction with the product team
- To interface with garment technologists w. regards to size specifications, technical construction, and the suitability of fabric for end use
- Responsible for maintaining a consistency of look within the menswear category
- Presentations of collections as required
- Assist with the merchandising of showrooms as required
- Assist with the styling of the collection for shows, presentations and marketing/promotional tools as required
- Management of T&E budget
