Working in our clean, modern and comfortable hospital specialises in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients and our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality treatment.
You’ll be part of a team of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality of care for all patients, enabling optimum potential to be achieved
This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week.
**What you'll be doing**:
As out Therapy Assistant, you will work unsupervised in carrying out set treatment programmes with patients and be responsible for organising own patient caseload. You will monitor response to intervention and communicate changes to the lead practitioner.
You will also support the Therapies service through clerical and administration tasks, stock checks, ordering and maintenance of equipment.
**What we’ll look for in you**:
With your experience in an acute healthcare setting, you will also have
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Clinical competencies relevant for the role
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Sensitivity and empathy with people
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise workload
