If successful, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing Manager with all procurement related tasks and projects, ensuring all manufacturing needs are met.

**What does the role involve?**
- Setting up and maintaining data, supplier details and product specifications.
- Processing purchase requests, researching potential suppliers, sourcing products and obtaining quotations.
- Progressing purchase orders and monitoring pricing to ensure consistency.
- Supporting with procurement strategy projects.
- Taking part in continuous improvement projects throughout the organisation.

**What do they need from you?**
- Previous experience in sourcing/purchasing, supply or manufacturing.
- Experience of ERP systems (SAP Business One or equivalent)
- An understanding of supply chain management and logistics with excellent computer skills to include spreadsheet knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail with solid communication and negotiation skills.
- CIPs qualification would be beneficial, or willingness to word towards achieving this.
