We are proud to be working with an iconic Cornish business based in **Redruth**. We are looking for an experienced and competent **Multi-Skileld Engineer** (with electrical bias) to join their already well-established Engineering team.

**Salary**: £41,000 per annum

**Shifts**: Full-time, 12 hours shifts, (3 on, 4 off, followed by 4 on, 3 off)

**Hours**: 6.00am to 6.00pm and 10.00am to 10.00pm on two week rotation

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the purpose of the role will be to provide efficient and high-quality engineering maintenance to the production line, through planned maintenance and breakdown servicing. Duties cover a broad spectrum of engineeringdisciplines including mechanical, electrical, automation including PLC programming, utilities - steam, compressed air, water etc.
- Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Engineer with electrical bias.
- Served work experience Engineering and fault-finding role or apprenticeship, preferably within a FMCG environment (ideally food industry)
- Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical Engineering, BTEC level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering)
- Appropriate C&G 2382, BS 7671:2018, 18 Edition IEE regulations qualification
- Good knowledge of automation, Plc programming and SCADA systems
- Competent in electromechanical & pneumatic Systems, electrical panels, industrial wiring, welding, machining, steam boilers etc
- Good understanding of HACCP principles
- Strong H&S focus
- Have a positive, 'can do’ attitude and always show a 'spirit of teamwork and cooperation’ with colleagues and customers.
