Skilled Toolmaker

We are excited to be working with one of Cornwall’s most established and reputable engineering firms. A world leader in their fields with a fantastic reputation in their sectors, and as local employers, they are looking for an experienced Skilled Toolmaker.

It is a full time role working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday with morning, day and late shifts. Salary is from £18,700 to £26,000 per annum doe.

**Key Requirements**
- Time served apprenticeship
- NVQ / Diploma / BTEC within engineering
- Other short course qualifications considered
- Experience in various machine tool types;
- Manual lathes
- CNC lathes
- CNC milling
- Grinding
- Experience in EDM machining would be beneficial but not essential.

**Key Objectives**
- Maintaining the companies long tradition of supplying quality products to a wide client base.
- Responsibility on working with both small and large batch sizes on high value components.
- Self-motivated and able to work to customer-specific deadlines.
