**About Price & Buckland**:
Price & Buckland are a bespoke school wear designer, manufacturer and supplier. Working with primary and secondary schools nationwide, we provide tailored uniform solutions, including PE kits and sportswear.

Based in Hucknall, Nottingham (NG15), we’re an SME with around 30 office staff working in marketing, customer service, sales and buying, and around 30 operations staff who maintain our warehouse and work in our print and embroidery team. We work closely with our sister company, P&B India, where the majority of our garments are manufactured.

**The Role**:
The role we’re recruiting for is a fixed-term Sportswear Designer.

The main purpose of the role is to update, refine and improve our current school sportswear range, taking inspiration from the wider school wear market and our main competitors, as well as popular fashion/sports brands.

The research phase of the project will also need to include a high level of communication with schools, PE departments and possibly school children, to define the requirements of school sports clubs and PE kits.

The aim is to use this research to design a full range plan of sportswear that can be marketed to our school clients. Whilst some of the range will be improved versions of our current garments, we’d expect to see some brand-new garments too.

This range plan will then be presented to the Board of Directors.

For the final stage of the project, the manufacturing, there may be the option to visit our sister factory in India to have your samples made.

**Location**: Hucknall, NG15. Primarily office based, with some flexibility to remote work, and some visits to schools expected.

**Contract** **type**: 6-month fixed term, with the potential to extend to 12 months, project dependent.

- 8 hour shift
