**What To Expect**

This is an excellent opportunity for a Brakes System Architecture Chapter Leader to join our thriving brakes engineering team. The Brakes Engineering Team brings together expertise to specify, engineer and deliver braking system from concept to production that meet the customer braking attributes and regulatory requirements.

This is a fantastic role for an individual who has extensive experience within brakes systems architecture and is passionate about integrating Braking system into a range of our vehicles and architecture. You will have the opportunity to influence our technical strategy while overseeing 11 direct reports across a number of different interfaces.

Working within the product development global team, you will contribute to our award-winning products and play a key role in reimagining the future of modern luxury and the future of mobility.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team to design integrate and validate Braking system.
- Manage coordinate and influence a cross-functional team to ensure robust delivery across brakes engineering.
- Develop, agree and deliver the test plan, confirm parts availability for all stages and ensure cross-functional requirements are integrated in module development.
- Manage project cadence and ensure transparent communication and escalation through the Brakes and Chassis engineering department.
- Be a key point of contact across a number of different interfaces for your system including, programmes, homologation, attributes, other systems and Brakes commodities.

**What You’ll Need**
- Experience working with an automotive original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or large tier 1 supplier in a brakes development senior role.
- Exposure and experience within automotive braking systems with the ability to influence and shape future requirements.
- Experience of presenting technical status and communicating confidently at all levels within the business and the supply base
- To plan and deliver complex multi-disciplinary projects in an automotive mechanical or electronics environment using a “Gateway” based process.
