We have teamed up with a brilliant new school in the Bury St Edmunds area who are looking for dynamic, hard-working and professional individuals to become part of their school. The school takes on SEMH pupils of various ages and needs staff comfortable with de-escalating and dealing with challenging behaviour.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be consistent with the class helping pupils on a 1:1 level and moving with them throughout the school while they attend various classes and activities on and off-site. SEMH schools prioritise the well-being of their pupils therefore classes like music, life skills, food tech, sensory breaks and swimming are seen as a vital part of the timetable. An individual who loves being creative and inspiring young people would be ideal for this role.

**Job description**:

- Interacting with pupils on a personal level, assisting them with their social, emotional, and educational goals.
- Assisting with personalised learning and aiding the progress of the pupils
- Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- February/March start - Long Term & Full Time
- £75-85 per day.
- Located in the Bury St Edmunds area
- Working hours are 8:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday
