HIT Technology is an established provider of software solutions to manufacturing and distribution companies, specialising in SYSPRO ERP software (for whom the company is an Authorised Solutions Partner) and other value-adding products that integrate with SYSPRO.

The company provides consultancy, support, implementation and customisation services for SYSRPO customers in the UK and Ireland, as well as digital transformation, integration and business process automation services for customers globally.

The company also provides general IT support services to some customers to provide them with a one-stop-shop for all their IT and software related requirements.

Based near Leicester, the company provides services and solutions to a large number of customers across the UK and globally.

Many staff work remotely (home-based or at client sites) but there is a small team based in the office in Blaby, Leicestershire.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced SYSPRO ERP Consultant to join the busy team of dedicated staff in order to continue providing excellent technical resource to our customers.

**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role of SYSPRO ERP Consultant will involve working with clients on a consultative basis to solve business process issues using SYSPRO ERP and related products, implementation and upgrades of SYSPRO ERP and related products and providing expert 2nd line support to users.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To provide SYSPRO ERP consultancy to customers both in-person and remotely
- To make recommendations for changes to processes and system use/settings
- To implement required changes within SYSPRO ERP and related products
- To take the lead on projects and ensure they are managed accordingly
- To contribute as part of a team to larger projects
- To implement SYSPRO ERP and related products for new customers
- To upgrade SYSPRO ERP and related products for existing customers
- To import data into SQL databases and to manipulate data using SQL tools
- To provide 2nd line support to users of SYSPRO ERP and related products
- To work collaboratively with other staff to ensure excellent services are delivered to customers
- To manage customer relationships and expectations
- To produce project, handover and technical documentation to a high standard
- To deliver customer training on SYSPRO ERP

**Skills & Experience**

Essential
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems (SYSPRO would be most beneficial)
- Previous ERP consultancy and/or support experience (minimum 2 years)
- Moderate knowledge SQL Server
- Good understanding of common business processes utilised in manufacturing and distribution companies
- Basic understanding of UK accounting process and terminology

Desirable

Experience of the following would be beneficial but not essential:

- SYSPRO Business Objects
- Crystal Reports
- VB Scripts
- MS Access
- MS Excel
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Label printing technology (such as BarTender or NiceLabel)
- riteSCAN

**Qualifications**

No formal qualifications are necessary. Experience in a similar role is more important.

A full, clean UK driving licence is necessary due to travel to clients’ sites.

**Job Title**

SYSPRO ERP Consultant

**Location**

The company offers a hybrid model of working, with the option to work from home of from the office near Leicester. However, there is also a requirement to travel to clients’ sites across the UK on a regular basis.

**Salary**

£40,000 to £50,000pa depending on experience and existing skills.
