**Youth Worker - Brighton**
- **Pay Rate £80-£90 per day**_

Are you a Youth Worker who is looking for a new role within the Education Sector? Perhaps you’ve gained voluntary experience working with children and young people, but you’re keen to explore other avenues? Could you work as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with special educational needs?

Chalk Education are working alongside this large secondary school in Brighton, who are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants from February 2023, both on temporary and permanent contracts.

As a Youth Worker/Teaching Assistant, you’ll be using your skills to work with pupils in a mainstream setting, who have a range of both academic & pastoral needs. You’ll be working as part of a great team that are dedicated to supporting one another and delivering best practice. This role is on a full time basis, and will see you working under the guidance of the school’s SENDCO.

**To be considered for this role you will need**:

- Strong behaviour management skills
- An understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs
- Creative and flexible approach to working with more challenging pupils
- A positive and hard-working attitude
