About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for Building Information Management (BIM) Technicians / Modellers to join our Non-Nuclear Engineering Partner (NNEP) to support a wide range of projects.

Our BIM Technicians / Modellers support project teams working across the full life cycle of projects; project delivery from initial project definition and FED studies through to detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover to operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Use of Revit to develop the 3D model in conjunction with other project disciplines.
- Provide support to BIM lead with clash detection in the 3D model.
- Resolve clash issues in the 3D model using a variety of software packages.
- Provide support to engineering teams to prepare for client design reviews.
- Preparation and delivery of presentations to identify design issues and resolutions.
- Provide support to engineering team for design changes

- Experience and familiarity with designing for delivery/implementation and associated project construction and execution.
- Demonstrable experience supporting Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects throughout a projects lifecycle.
- Understanding of design and development processes and their governance.
- Preferably experience with using Revit design software package.
- Experience using a range of other BIM software packages such as PDMS, Navis works, Inventor, Bluebeam, SP3D, Auto CAD, Plant 3D
- Preferably Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline. Other lower qualifications such as Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) or Higher National Certificate will be considered on a case by case basis.
