CECOS College London is looking for experienced Lecturers to deliver on the Health and Social Care course**.**

The course is delivered from campus from Monday to Friday.

**Qualifications (required)**
- Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area
- PGCE/PGCHE or any other Teaching Qualifications is preferable
- Professional Affiliations or membership of Advance HE
- Previous learning and teaching experience for similar course/s
- Experience of providing the pastoral support and feedback to the students.

**Main Activities and Responsibilities**:

- To undertake specialist responsibilities in all aspects of planning, delivering and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
- To enable students to receive a high-quality educational experience using variety of learning and teaching methods/materials in liaison with the programme head.
- To observe students in learning, teaching, and assessment settings, providing effective and constructive feedback to support their development and progression.
- To develop lesson plans, monitor ILPs and individual schemes of work as required.
- To collaborate with other academic staff in developing and enhancing specialist units.
- To deliver teaching according to agreed standards, and identify areas for potential improvement.
- To monitor student engagement, progress, and to maintain up to date records of work.
- To provide pastoral support to students, as when needed.
- To participate in standardisation meetings.
- To provide timely and constructive feedback (formative and summative).
- To ensure any issues of student engagement or performance are addressed, signposting authorities as necessary.
- To produce module/unit evaluation report at the end of each module
- To engage with Programme Committee meetings, contributing towards continuous improvement of the students’ learning experiences and the identification of good practices.
- To reflect on the outcomes of student module feedback questionnaires, identify areas for improvement as well as good practice which colleagues might usefully draw on.
