**About the role**

Reporting to the Directors, you will contribute and move forward to our existing clinical governance and quality assurance framework that enables us to measure and continuously improve the quality of our services. As a Quality and compliance Lead you will work as part of the wider adults and children’s teams advising on clinical governance, methodology, and risk management to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, national and local policies.

Working closely with Operational colleagues and Locality managers to embed the principles of clinical care governance and quality standards, aimed at creating an environment in which excellence in our services will flourish.

The role is based in Wedmore, providing support for all our services across Bristol and North Somerset, travelling to visit our services when required.

**Duties and Responsibilities (Non-exhaustive)**
- Work with staff to lead on audit, risk management and compliance.
- Manage quality and compliance systems.
- Support complaint and incident handling.
- Drive service improvement, lead projects and report data.
- Lead on training compliance.
- Ensure compliance with national standards.
- Promote a positive workplace.

**Job specification**

**Skills**
- Leadership and regulatory experience within children and adults social care
- Working knowledge of Care Quality Commission Regulations, Mental Capacity Act, Health and Safety, Safeguarding and all other relevant legislation and policies
- Clear understanding of the Care Act and its implications
- Experience of working in healthcare or social care sector
- Understanding of Ofsted regulations for Childrens services
- Have worked within a multisite role previously
- You will need to have excellent communication and influencing skills and work in collaboration with locality managers, senior managers, and external professionals in ensuring best practice and continuous improvement is embedded across our services.
- Excellent communication and adaptability
- Experience in Quality improvement leadership
- Good planning and organisational skills and time management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £38,000.00 per year
