A well-established Manufacturer based in Poole is looking to add a Production Planner to their team. Working within a small office team you will be providing administration & planning support to the business; key duties will include:

- Control customer order process and liaise with internal sales and production to achieve customer requirements
- Planning of customer orders to meet expectations and deadlines
- Liaise with other sites to facilitate the manufacture of customer orders and to ensure delivery dates are met
- Raise the relevant production paperwork in the form of job cards and labels, and 'change over dockets’ to enable the factory to manufacture planned requirements
- Monitor production in the form of daily figure analysis and collation, and report any issues
- Continuous analysis of production output, reporting any shortfalls and seeking solutions for resolution
- Monitor and order supplies of materials to enable production, and the smooth running of the factory.
- Work closely with Production teams being the primary point of contact for staff with regards to any production queries or quality issues, working closely with quality control and shop floor to quickly and effectively resolve any issues

For this role, you will possess:

- Previous Planning / Production planning experience
- Experience of working in a Production, Manufacturing or Engineering environment
- A good understanding of production planning and the importance of production analysis
- A methodical approach to work and good problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Lean/Quality and continuous improvements principles.
- Computer literate: Microsoft office
