**Position Summary**:
The Cash Allocations Team Lead will be responsible to drive and lead a team in our Paisley Shared Service Centre, working to set targets.

Experience in credit and collections is required, for the best understanding of the role, as are excellent communication and supervisory skills.

The role comes with regular contact with the Accounting & Reporting and Treasury teams, various levels of company employees and external customers, and - primarily - with Credit & Collections teams, Cash Allocation team and ItC managers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and handle the Cash Allocations team
- Ensure the performance of all tasks is carried out in line with company policies, internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Meet all Key Performance Indicators
- Resolve any disputes with our customer base and other departments as
- Work with the Treasury team to ensure a smooth operation
- Ensure great flow of communication with the Intercompany, Cash and Banking and Accounting and Reporting teams
- Contact bank to resolve any payment issues and improve identification of cash for better allocation
- Maintain appropriate documents, documentation and other information in the customer files
- Stay on top of all law pertaining to collection, bankruptcy, bonds, liens and judgments
- Responsible for smooth and timely month end close activities (reconciliations, reporting, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with Internal and External Audit teams around testing
- Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

***Skills Required**:

- Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.)
- Great understanding of basic and sophisticated accounting principles
- Important understanding of all the Accounts Receivable reporting processes and procedures
- Sophisticated system knowledge of the 2 ERPs (Oracle E1, SAP) and collection software (CForia)
- Strong demonstrate people management and development skills
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding teammate who works efficiently with wide range of people
- Consistent track record of excellent judgment and decision-making ability
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards

***Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Degree in credit management/accounting, or equivalent professional qualification
- Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified or working towards qualification
- Previous experience in a similar setting preferred
- Excellent digital literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Proven leadership or supervisory skills
