The Domestic Energy Assessor Trainer will be responsible for the planning and delivery of our Domestic Energy Assessor course. Flexible in your approach, you will be a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and have a keen interest in developing and trainingothers in this field. You will either currently hold a Teaching/Assessing qualification or be willing to work towards one and be confident in your ability to stand in front of a group of people in order to deliver training.

**Job specific responsibilities**:

- Deliver high quality DEA training (accredited and non-accredited) using to the best learning methods for the demands of the courses and client.
- Take responsibility for the overall learner and business experience ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction for all participants.
- Seek feedback from learners and employers on our support materials in order to review and improve the delivery and learning experience.
- Work within our VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) and be able to blend online and offline delivery where appropriate.
- Deliver training both 'one to one’ and 'one to many’
- Provide effective IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) to support learner progression during progress reviews.
- Complete attendance registers and reviews in line with processes and other paperwork associated with programme delivery.
- Assist with monitoring & compliance for the funded elements of the programme.
- Deliver outcomes in line with all performance targets within project (e.g., recruitment, retention, and achievement targets for learners).

**Essential Criteria**:

- Be a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and have a keen interest in developing and training others in this field.
- You will either currently hold a Teaching/Assessing qualification or be willing to work towards one,
- Be confident in your ability to stand in front of a group of people in order to deliver training.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Recent experience in the delivery and assessment of accredited qualifications in the field DEA.
- Understanding and experience of curriculum development to support learners.
- Holds a recognised Teaching Qualification at a minimum of Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
- Holds a recognised Assessing Qualification, e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33*.
- Understand different learning styles and how to differentiate through various teaching methods.
- Has the ability to work in a target orientated environment and achieve required measures of success and quality.
- Feels comfortable in a dynamic, fast changing environment and be interested in innovating business training and business support.

**Shared responsibilities**:

- Answering telephone and taking/distributing messages and meeting and greeting visitors.
- Invigilating test bookings as required to maintain compliance with regulations e.g. Ofsted and ESIF Audits.
- Contributing to team meetings.
- Maintenance of clean and tidy office.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Supporting other teams across the business when required.
- General office tasks to support the effective delivery of organisation’s services to include scanning, photocopying, etc.

**Other responsibilities**:

- Open communication with Zenith colleagues.
- Involvement in company projects as and when required.
- Any additional duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the training team.
