Gap personnel operating as an employment business is recruiting for an Admin Assistant/Chaser for our client in Ipswich, you will be working for a premier supplier that is looking to grow its team on a Full time Temporary to Permanent Basis.

Working with in a team to help the company with the orders that are needed to be processed within a tight deadline to make sure the company hits there required delivery levels.

Monday to Friday 06:00AM to 16:00PM

Pay £12.00 Per Hour

Main Responsibilities
- Maintain regular contact with hauliers to resolve any issues.
- Working with the site manager using forward planning to ensure that daily despatch.
- To comply with legislation and industry codes in relation to hazardous substances and all other requirements
- Assisting with the despatch desk
- Ensuring that all bookings are executed daily by regularly communicating with haulage companies, where booked loads have not been collected.
- Accurately confirming pick lists

Knowledge, skills, and experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Excellent attention to detail
- A can-do attitude is essential in this role, to ensure our customers receive a high level of service.
- An excellent telephone manner is essential, having the ability to communicate clearly at all levels and keep a calm presence within the office and on the telephone when under pressure.
- A good team member,
- Flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities
- Good general understanding Microsoft Word and Excel & other programs
