Are you a commercially aware management accountant looking for an interesting new challenge? Are you looking for a role that will take you away from transactional accounting and standard month end and in a more exciting commercially focused direction?

This is a role with incredible scope for progression and chance to fast track into fully fledged finance business partnering.

You’ll be working for a thriving subsidiary of a large, secure and highly profitable PLC. A business with a superb track record that is largely 'recession proof’. Your remit is the 'sexy’ end of finance - forward looking with a focus on forecasting, newbids and tenders, sales and profit stream performance.

You’ll enjoy speaking with colleagues across the business - having commercial discussions that impact decision making.

It’s not rear-view-mirror reporting and control - much more focused on what is around the corner and how growth and further success can be influenced.

There’s a small element of 'month end’ which will be useful when it comes to completing your CIMA / ACCA experience but the key focus is commercial analysis and added value reporting / discussions.

It would suit someone who has a genuine interest in business and enjoys discussing financial info and MI with a non finance audience.

You need:

- Keenness to complete CIMA or ACCA - currently studying
- AAT or a relevant accounting / finance degree
- Excel skills.
- Massive enthusiasm and drive - this is a role for someone proactive and confident.
- Natural attention to detail - the numbers need to be credible and well thought through to allow you to gain the trust of non finance colleagues.
- Keen to progress and naturally ambitious.
