A fantastic opportunity is available for a Project Lead to join the EPR Programme Team

You will be asked to Project manage specific projects with the EPR Programme from their inception to establishing a robust service to help clinical staff in their ability to deliver care in an efficient manner and to a required standard. You will lead the projects, gain support and buy-in from colleagues, and work in partnership with the clinical digital team to ensure digitally enabled healthcare projects meet the needs of the Trust to improve patient care.

To work in partnership with the clinical digital team to ensure digitally enabled healthcare projects meet the needs of the Trust to improve patient care.
- Be a role model within the team and department.
- Develop a realistic project scope for assigned project(s), taking in account of other projects and business

priorities.
- Undertake a risk potential assessment for assigned project(s), and manage the project risk throughout the

project’s life.
- Write and present business cases to Project board and Trust boards to secure the necessary project resources

and to gain authority to proceed.
- Manage project communications to inform, persuade and motivate the wider Trust on the importance of the

project, the business impact and associated risks involved.
- Manage assigned project(s) to PRINCE2 standards and using the Trust’s project flow process; resolving any

issues where a project does not meet these standards.
- Help evolve and strengthen the Trust approach to Project Management.
- Actively manage project(s) budgets and spend against the project(s).
- As necessary manage and support project teams, including workloads of any staff associated with assigned

project(s).
- As necessary provide guidance and training to all levels of staff in respect of assigned project(s).
- Develop, produce, and maintain project documents as required of assigned project(s) and any programmes

which they may be part of.
- Engage and consult with the Trust throughout the project life, with specific focus when creating and agreeing

requirement specification, when seeking business acceptance of project deliveries and when establishing a
service.
