This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has an interest in technical IT services and an engineering mindset. Experience within an IT services, physical services or data centre environment would be very beneficial. You must be organised and structured, open to learning and absorbing lots of highly technical information with a 'go-getter' attitude. It's important that you're an excellent listener and communicator and have administration and relationship-building skills as you’ll be working with a wide variety of clients and sectors.

**The Role**:

- Develop extensive knowledge of Client’s offerings, products and services
- Building and developing relationships and new service offerings with potential customers
- Processing orders and providing quotations
- Working with suppliers and supplier pricing
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date client contact records within CRM
- Supporting the senior sales and technical pre-sales team in relevant activities
- Researching potential business opportunities, industry trends and developments
- Attending industry events and helping to sell and market the company
- This role is office based in Chelmsford

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a technical or management discipline.
- Flexibility with a strong work ethic
- Full UK driving licence
- You must be an excellent verbal and written communicator with an ability to learn, understand, explain and articulate complex processes and information at all levels.
- Must be able to demonstrate good account management, general business acumen and customer management skills.
- At least 3 years’ experience within a similar technical pre-sales position.

**Technical Skills**:

- Excellent IT literacy using Excel, Word, CRM and cloud based management tools
- Adaptable and natural at picking up and utilising new technologies

**You’ll get**:
