**Fulltime - Permanent role**
Starting Rate - £ 12.00 p/hr
After probation period - £ 13.10 p/hr
3 shifts pattern (Must be able to work all three shifts)
- early shift 6am-2pm
- late shift 2pm-10pm
- night shift 10pm-6am (start Monday finish Saturday 6am)
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Comply with all Health & Safety Policies, and promote a safe working environment
- Support the Flexographic Printers to achieve KPI's and quality levels set by the Company
- Ensure day-to-day running of the Printing Presses are fully utilised and optimised, including the covering of breaks where possible
- Machine Make-Ready times to be optimised where possible
- Assist in producing finished goods in accordance with client and Customer Specifications, whilst monitoring quality, Minimise downtime by ensuring all inputs for the next job are ready - inks, plates, chambers, materials etc.
- Complete all relevant paperwork (Daily Production Sheets) and input data onto the computer systems accurately to ensure checks can be carried out
- Keeping high standards of presentation of finished goods to the customer
- Ensure effective shift change-over is carried out
- Working to tight schedules
- Provide holiday and sickness cover where possible
- Maintain good standards of housekeeping, following the Company Clean As You Go Policy
- Support the Print Manager in concluding spoilage and NC investigations and customer complaints
- Have clear understanding of the Company / Staff Handbook
**Key Requirements**:

- Ability to manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment, whilst maintaining standards within the business
- Should be able to use own initiative when necessary, and have the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Organised and calm under pressure
- Ability to problem solve, and have a proactive, positive, enthusiastic can do attitude
- Good organisational and self motivational skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) at all times
- Good attendance and timekeeping
- Willingness to multi-skill and be a flexible team player based on the needs and demands of the business
- A desire to continually improve

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
