Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery Specialising in Lower Limb Surgery
Applications are invited for a Full Time Consultant in Orthopaedics, for Upper limb surgery (Shoulder, elbow, hand & Wrist), based at Northwick Park Hospital and would be required to work across the Central Middlesex and Ealing Hospitals
We are looking for individuals that share our passion for excellence and want to join our team. It is essential that the successful applicant has experience in Upper limb surgery. The role will include elective and trauma operating, fracture clinics and elective clinics. It is hoped that the applicant can be appointed as soon as is practicable.
The Consultants are supported by Registrars, Trust Grade doctors, and junior doctors at FY1/FY2/CT1 level.
It is essential that the applicant has passed the fellowship in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
There will be balanced activities between trauma and elective commitments based on service demands, to be further reviews prior to start date.
The activities would include Operation lists, both Elective and Trauma, Regular ward round, Outpatient clinics, both Elective and Trauma. Presenting monthly mortality & morbidity statistics and participating in departmental teaching meetings. Supervision and training middle grade. Be prepared to participate in management duties within the department and the Trust.
