**About the role**:
A vacancy has arisen for a CMM Inspector within the Machine Shop Inspection Department on our weekend shift. Reporting to the Machine Shop Inspection Team Leader, you will be responsible for the efficient inspection and verification of components, to ensure adherence to specification, in accordance with defined procedures and priorities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Programming and operating CMM machines to validate dimensional accuracy of components against drawing specifications.
- Efficient use of other inspection equipment to validate mechanical and visual characteristics of components.
- Strict adherence to drawings, defined operating procedures and work instructions.
- Flexible approach to working in order to achieve lead times, within a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a working knowledge of machining processes.
- Working within defined Health and Safety guidelines

You will possess effective communication skills and will have the ability to remain focused and objective under pressure. Resilient and professional with a belief in the concept of Continuous Improvement. Energetic with a strong work ethic and customer focus.

Flexibility in hours and a can-do approach is required, along with the ability to work in a team, under pressure and to strict deadlines with minimum supervision

**Experience of the following would be beneficial**:

- Experienced in the use of Hexagon CMM Machines and Romer Arms.
- Practical and working knowledge of G,D & T.
- PC-DMIS programming (highly advantageous).
- Experienced in the use of ERP software (ideally SAP)
