Are you keen to make a difference, would you like to join an exciting team?

The Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Centre of Excellence is a newly established Centre and Team hosted at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

The team aims to work collaboratively across all Health Sectors in Wales to identify priorities for challenges e.g. for unmet needs and provide support to challenge leads across the country who will be developing innovative technology solutions and driving innovation in challenge led health procurement.

If so we are looking to recruit a Centre Support Officer. This is a Fixed term contract or Secondment opportunity which will run until 31.03.2025. Secondments will require the support of the current Line Manager

Working autonomously as part of the SBRI Centre of Excellence team, the post holder will provide high level project and administrative support to more senior staff by assisting in the planning and delivery of Centre deliverables.

The post holder will be required to act as ‘configuration librarian’ by developing and maintaining the project library, databases and associated resource lists. They will also be required to assist in centre planning and monitor plans to ensure the centre remains on target, highlighting and escalating any issues and risks proactively.

Working as part of the centre team they will be the first point of contact for many staff and will be required to provide support, training and guidance to other Challenge Lead staff, contributing to the development of policies and procedures for their own work area. The post holder will also ensure that standard project management methodologies are applied to progress and successfully deliver projects and the centre deliverables.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 24 months to meet the needs of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

If you relish a challenge, have a passion to help others or simply fancy a fresh start, then Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales, has all the right ingredients.
