As a CNC Operator, in Flexibles Glenrothes, you will strive to produce world class quality, precision machined components from raw material stage to completed product, Flexibles UK manufacture subsea connectors as core product but also a wide range of oilfield equipment including valves, BOPs, Surface Test Trees and manifold blocks for both intercompany and 3rd party customers globally.

You will have the opportunity to develop into a highly valued, multi-disciplined CNC machinist by engaging in training programs in turning, horizontal boring and CAD/CAM departments leading you to become a master of your profession, responsible for your own productivity output, utilizing various milling manufacturing processes, keen to take on challenges, develop your technical skills potential as well as expand your knowledge & experience through a variety of exciting initiatives.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operate designated machine safely and competently, ensuring that all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Carry out designated tasks as instructed.
- Interpret Engineering drawings manufacturing components within set tolerances.
- Interpret engineering drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images identifying the most efficient, cost effective tooling/programming solution without compromising quality or safety

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Good working knowledge of the Oil and Gas in a relevant field (essential)
- Working knowledge of CNC machining centres (essential)
- Working knowledge of CNC lathes, CNC horizontal borers (desirable)

**SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE**:

- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- ERP knowledge such as Oracle, Emax
