As a Product Change Control Technician you will be working in the Supply Chain Planning department. This role provides coordination and expertise in the areas of Plan for Every Part and the end of life processing for parts (RSSM). This role also provides support and assistance with Current Product Change, coordinating part introduction or changes across both Desford & Stockton facilities to ensure the timely, most efficient and cost effective introduction of the change.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Set-up the initial Plan for Every Part for Current Production changes and be responsible for managing Safety/CI change requests related to PFEP.
- Recommend & implement approved changes in PFEP settings (including Kanban analysis) and monitor inventory levels to ensure days on hand/turns targets are achieved inclusive of surplus inventory checking across Desford & Stockton and also includes the handling of inventory adjustment requests (ICS & Stores Requisitions).
- Manage surplus inventory through RSSM process (to sell or scrap) within corporate dictated timeframes.
- Analyse engineering drawings and notices to determine and create procurement item master data, product structure definition in MCS and ensure full PFEP (Plan for every part) set-up in Glovia including stocking replenishment parameters, supplier protection & obtaining tariff codes from external 3rd party.
- Ensure the accurate timely procurement, manufacture, or rework of material during the implementation of engineering releases and changes through direct communication, entry and maintenance of effective dates in the MCS Releasing/EMCC system.
- Check and analyse the daily progress of material and documentation involved in the change process to ensure new material availability in accordance with the established effective date.
- Maintain close team relationships with personnel in manufacturing operations, process planning, engineering, material planning & logistics to support effective, least cost change implementation.
- Manage the completion of individual work assignments and coordinate work with others.

**Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of manufacturing & supply chain concepts
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral), and able to work in a collaborative style.
- Experience with Teamcenter, Glovia, MCS Releasing/EMCC, EDS or HVC would be advantageous
- Familiar with and able to demonstrate competency in MS Office products particularly Excel.
