Project Scheduler

We are looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Project Scheduler to join the team at our busy Liverpool branch.
To organise and schedule the project teams as well as organising their documentation and ensuring that the installations are progressing as expected and completed on time.
**Main Responsibilities for this role include**:
- To schedule all reactive and planned works to appropriate resource, paying attention to location, expertise, and response targets.
- To be responsible for dealing with operational/clients requests in all aspects of the project and escalating any issues to the Installation/Electrical Managers, when required.
- Ensure all project teams are organised and provided with the relevant job packs for jobs they have been allocated.
- Assist managers in assessing workload through forecasting and performance measurement to determine priorities.
- To ensure that the project teams days are optimised to drive maximum productivity from the team.
- Ensure all jobs are completed within the required response times and costs.
- Escalate issues with specific jobs, clients, or project teams promptly.
- Ensure full audit trails are maintained and evidenced where required.
- Deal with communications in a professional and prompt manner.
- Arrange third party attendance where required, raising appropriate Purchase Orders and Work. Requests and obtaining required completion information.
- Monitor project team travel and activity and respond to issues as required.
- Scheduling and liaison with testing/calibration of project team equipment
**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:
- Previously worked with planning and/or scheduling.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Accuracy within scheduling approach.
- Work effectively under pressure within a busy and diverse environment.
- Possess strong IT skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills with the ability to provide detailed information and advice in a clear and positive manner.
- Show a creative approach to analysing and solving problems using technology and reported information.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Organised with the ability to manage changing priorities.
**Preferred**
- Background in hire industry or similar industry.
- Qualification in Business Administration or equivalent (would be advantageous)
