We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the Portfolio and Prospect Development team, our 4-persons team at the very heart of supporting our high-value fundraisers.

The role is offered at 22.5 hours per week on a 12 fixed term contract or internal secondment basis.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. There will be travel to our Head Office a minimum of one day per month, and to our London or Surrey hubs once per week.

What you'll be doing:As our Fundraising Prospect Research Officer, you'll be responsible for proactively and reactively researching individuals, charitable trusts and foundations, corporates and other organisations to support our ambitious fundraising teams.

Working closely with the Fundraising Portfolio Manager you will ensure fundraising activity is supported across the Trust with robust research.

You'll provide information, biographies and contribute to briefing notes to support meetings, guest lists, proposals and asks as well as conducting due diligence in line with organisational guidance.

You'll work closely with all fundraising teams both centrally and regionally, and with the corporate partnerships team.

- Knowledge or experience of prospect research and its techniques.
- Up to date knowledge of available research tools and experience in using them to collate detailed prospect information.
- IT literacy, including Microsoft programmes.
- Information management skills and the ability to assess and consolidate information rapidly, identify key points and draw conclusions.
- Experience as a record keeper, ensuring accurate financial reporting to inform future relationships with donors including report writing and presentations.
- A passion for your work, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and proactivity.
