**We are seeking a Premises and Administration Officer to join the team at Cambridge Econometrics UK office on a permanent part-time basis (20 - 25 hours negotiable, 5 days a week onsite)**

Cambridge Econometrics (CE) is a leading independent economics consultancy, and listed by the Financial Times as a top Management Consultancy. Our analysis and insights are used by clients around the world to inform policy decisions about pressing challenges faced by society. The CE Group employs approximately 70 people globally in Cambridge, Brussels, Budapest and Massachusetts. We provide economic and policy research in areas that we are interested in and that make a difference to people. Our clients include national and local governments, international organisations including the European Commission and the World Bank, as well as a range of non-governmental organisations and charities with policy concerns.

Working in the Group Shared Services team, and line managed by our Head of IT, the main purpose of the role is to support and ensure a smooth and effective running of the Cambridge Econometrics UK office.

Your responsibilities will include:
**Premises Officer**
- Liaise with suppliers, supporting the negotiation of maintenance contracts, and undertake reviews to ensure the best quality of service and cost efficiency.
- Responsible for maintaining strategic premises note.
- Responsible for completing carbon footprint assessment
- Carry out ad-hoc works and general premises-related tasks as may come up on a day-to-day basis.
- Responsible for the security of the premises, responding to emergency calls as necessary.

**Administrative Officer**
- Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, coordinate post, directing phone calls; be on the Microsoft Teams switchboard; maintain and organise reading material in reception area.
- Ensure Health and safety procedures are adhered to, including coordination of fire drills.
- First point of contact for staff enquiries for Travel as needed and organising business travel.
- Booking couriers, external conference facilities, and other miscellaneous requirements.
- Providing administration assistance to the Bids and Contracts manager.
- Administrative assistance to the Senior Management Team as needed

We are looking for people who have:
**Essential**:

- Time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills with the ability to work independently and in a proactive manner.
- Be organised, self-motivated with a professional approach whilst being adaptable and flexible.
- Accurate and professional communication style (written and verbal)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both within a team and individually.
- Ability to remain calm when under pressure.
- Highly organised with good document management experience and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint for bidding and contract support (Additional training will be provided)

**Desirable**:

- Trained in Health & Safety, Fire Safety and First Aid.
- Ideally within locality of Cambridge office
