**We have an opportunity for a Supervisory role within our Rental division.**

**Contracted hours of work: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday flexibility with start/finish time**

**Job Role**:

- Managing, coaching and motivating the rental team to ensure best customer service is being delivered by the team
- Ensuring that all vehicles are being utilised to their maximum and that the fleet remains fully serviced and compliant with industry/statutory requirements
- Assist with ensuring adequate resources are in place to cover all daily job aspects
- Identify areas for continuous improvement within the rental department and address accordingly
- Ensure month end invoicing/contracts are completed and income is accurately reported
- Monitor cash hire account with rental team
- Assisting in the delivery of departmental budgets and KPI’s
- Maintain positive relationship with customers, dealership staff and rental team to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise utilisation.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Demonstrable experience of managing and leading a team of people
- Enthusiasm to deliver the RentaMerc experience and continuously strive for best practice within the team
- Proficiency in IT systems
- A strong team player who can engage their fellow team members
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with other departments effectively
- Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills

**Desirable**:

- Automotive, equipment or plant hire background
- Experience of Kerridge, Dealer Management system
