**OUR ROLE ON RECEPTION**

As with all reception roles our main focus is our customer or in our case our patients and their families. We all choose to work in this environment because we thrive on delivering the best service that we can and making a real difference to the people that step through our doors.

This role will predominately be covering weekends and bank holidays, the shifts are between 8-3.30pm or 2-8pm with the occasional 9-1pm and you must be able to work any combination of these hours.

**The basics of our job include**:

- Meeting and greeting all patients, visitors, staff and contractors that come in to the building ensuring that they are signed in and directed to the correct person or waiting area as appropriate.
- Answering all of the phone calls that come into the hospital via our computer based switchboard system.
- Admitting all patients onto our in-house computer system and gaining all relevant patient information whilst adhering to strict GDPR guidelines.
- Taking cash and credit card payments where required.
- Making follow up clinic room bookings for patients
- Taking messages and passing them on to the appropriate person.
- Occasional Data entry - Inputting clinic lists..
- Organising taxis’ and couriers.
- Dealing with all lost property.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.25 per hour
